Liane Ventura is a senior international trade and economic development executive with nearly four decades of experience advancing global commerce, investment, and cross-border business engagement.
She serves as Senior Vice President of International Business at the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the Greater Miami Foreign Trade Zone, Inc. #32 (GMFTZ). In these roles, she leads initiatives at the intersection of international trade, logistics, economic development, and public policy, while serving as a key liaison between the Chamber, government institutions, economic development organizations, and international business stakeholders.
Since joining the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce in 1987, Ms. Ventura has played a longstanding role in strengthening South Florida’s position as a gateway for international commerce and investment. Her work encompasses trade policy, legislative and regulatory issues affecting global business and logistics, foreign trade zone strategy, and the development of relationships across public- and private-sector institutions.
Her broader leadership includes an appointment by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce to the South Florida District Export Council. She also serves or has participated in a number of organizations focused on international commerce and economic development, including the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones, the Florida Chamber of Commerce International Council, the Miami-Dade Beacon Council International Council, the World Trade Center Miami Stakeholders Council, and the Florida Advisory Council of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.
Through her extensive experience across trade, policy, logistics, and international economic development, Ms. Ventura brings to the U.S.-MENA Chamber of Commerce a deep understanding of how institutions, markets, and public-private partnerships can work together to advance bilateral commerce and long-term economic relationships.
